  • Equine Education

At Pew Pew Ponies we emphasize the building blocks of equine education for adults to gain the necessary knowledge and skills of horsemanship.

    1. Groundwork: Establishing a groundwork routine lays out steps for trust and respect. This includes exercises such as roundpenning, leading, lunging, desensitization and trailering. Groundwork fosters excellent communication and sets the stage for successful future riding endeavors.

    2. Understanding Horse Psychology: Gaining insights into equine behavior and psychology is a game-changer in horsemanship. By appreciating their natural instincts and learning to work with them rather than against them, horsemen can effectively communicate and build trust with their equine partners.

    3. Consistency & Patience: Consistency, coupled with patience and leadership forms the cornerstone of success. Horses thrive on routine, and gradual progression allows them to develop confidence in their handlers.

  • Pew Pew Ponies Horsemanship takes on horses from age foal to 3 years old on a case by case basis to give your young one the beginning foundation they need to go onto become well rounded horses in any endeavor.
